iPrevent's Connect To Health Block Party, was an absolute success! During our free block party we served BBQ, refreshments, snowballs, face painting, along with providing information about OHL and all our wonderful programs, free health services like blood pressure, glucose, HIV and Hep C testing. Additionally we connected individuals to iPrevent's social media services that provide educational information on a daily basis and played music directly from iPrevent OHL's radio station that played educational PSA's every-top of the hour. We had a number of staff, volunteers, and community members show up learn more about health services OHL provides and provided a way to stay engaged with community member through social media and follow up. Thank you to everyone who played a role! Huge shoutout to APEX Youth Center and WIC for partnering with us on this event.
